Resident Evil Requiem gets free demo on PC and consoles

Resident Evil Requiem has already been one of the highest-rated and highest-selling games of the year. Now, Capcom is giving fans the chance to try it out for free through a new demo.

The Resident Evil Requiem demo is now available for all platforms, including PC via Steam and the Epic Games Store, alongside consoles like the Switch 2, PS5 and Xbox Series X/S.

The demo gives fans a chance to play the “early stages” of the campaign, although those who opt to play the demo will not be able to bring their save data forward into the full game, so if you do jump in, just know that you will need to start over again when you buy the game.

Capcom has offered demos for many of its major titles in recent years, usually offering between 30 minutes and an hour of game time.

KitGuru Says: We don't know exactly where in the campaign the demo ends but if you've been interested in Resident Evil Requiem and want to try before you buy, this is the best way.
