Nintendo will reveal Super Mario Bros. Wonder gameplay this week

The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom isn't Nintendo's only major first-party release for 2022. During a Nintendo Direct earlier this summer, Super Mario Bros. Wonder was also announced, marking the first all-new Super Mario Bros. game in many years. This next game should also serve as the debut for the mysterious new voice actor behind the Super Mario character. We'll be learning more about the game in a new stream scheduled for this week.

Today, Nintendo announced its next Direct stream, airing on August 31st at 3PM BST.  The announcement specifically notes that this Direct is dedicated to Super Mario Bros. Wonder, so don't expect to see any other game announcements at this time.

Super Mario Bros. Wonder is the latest 2D game in the Super Mario series. We can expect all-new levels and perhaps new enemies and power-up types. Nintendo has already given us a look at the game through an earlier trailer, so we'd expect this stream to be a more comprehensive gameplay showcase.

KitGuru Games: Predicting the Next Half a Decade of Call of Duty Releases

Benjamin Franklin (1706-1790) famously once said: “The three absolutes in life are death, taxes and a new Call of Duty coming out every single year”. Sure enough, the US founding father has yet to be proven wrong, with Activision and a dozen studios having ensured that come the tail-end of any given year, there will be a new COD ready to release. And so, what can we expect from the franchise later this year? What about 2027, 2028 or even 2030? By looking back at the past two decades of Call of Duty games, their trends, progression and regression, I believe I can predict the next 5 years worth of annual COD entries.
