Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown announced at Summer Game Fest

At Summer Game Fest this evening, Ubisoft kicked off its game announcements early with the reveal of Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown. We're unlikely to see The Sands of Time remake for quite a while but in the meantime, this new 2.5D platformer entry in the series should tide fans over.

A gameplay trailer for The Lost Crown was revealed during the Summer Game Fest stream this evening:

The game promises rich and vibrant levels and a “perfect blend of parkour, combat and puzzle solving”.

Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown is set to release for PC, Xbox, PlayStation and Switch on the 24th of January 2024. Fingers crossed it doesn't suffer as many delays as The Sands of Time remake has.
