July’s Humble Choice features Yakuza, TemTem and more

Each month, those who are subscribed to the Humble Choice service are privy to a number of games – letting you obtain a handful of titles for a relatively low price. Following a leak earlier this week, humble have now officially announced this month’s Choice line-up – including heavy-hitters such as Yakuza 4, TemTem, The Outer Worlds and more.

Available right now, July’s Humble Choice offerings include 8 games in total, averaging just over £1 per title (based on Humble Choice’s £8.99 monthly price), with the line-up being as follows:

  • The Outer Worlds: Spacer’s Choice Edition
  • TemTem
  • Yakuza 4 Remastered
  • Roadwarden
  • Kraken Academy
  • Merchant of the Skies
  • Ozymandias
  • Shotgun King: The Final Checkmate

One of the headlining titles is The Outer Worlds: Spacer’s Choice Edition: The most complete and up-to-date version of Obsidian Entertainment’s space RPG, featuring all of its post-launch DLC and graphical enhancements.

TemTem meanwhile is a “massively multiplayer creature-collection adventure” in which you can “catch every Temtem, battle other tamers, customize your house, join a friend's adventure or explore the dynamic online world” – in essence it is a Pokemon-like title with MMO elements. The game left Early Access last September, with Temtem continuing to receive a consistent string of updates.

Ever since the game left Early Access, TemTem has remained relatively pricey, with the title currently seeing its biggest discount on Steam (33% off). Still, even with this discount, being able to get the game and 7 other titles for a 3rd of the Steam price of TemTem alone is a massive saving. If you have been interested in any of these games, the Humble Choice line-up for July is certainly worth considering.

KitGuru Games: Predicting the Next Half a Decade of Call of Duty Releases

Benjamin Franklin (1706-1790) famously once said: “The three absolutes in life are death, taxes and a new Call of Duty coming out every single year”. Sure enough, the US founding father has yet to be proven wrong, with Activision and a dozen studios having ensured that come the tail-end of any given year, there will be a new COD ready to release. And so, what can we expect from the franchise later this year? What about 2027, 2028 or even 2030? By looking back at the past two decades of Call of Duty games, their trends, progression and regression, I believe I can predict the next 5 years worth of annual COD entries.
