NZXT launches compact Capsule Mini microphone and Boom Arm Mini

NZXT is expanding its peripheral lineup today with two new additions. If you are after a more compact dedicated microphone setup for gaming, streaming or recording, then you'll want to take a look at the new Capsule Mini and Boom Arm Mini.

The Capsule Mini caters to those who require a compact USB microphone for their setup. The Capsule is tuned to enhance speech in gaming environments, using analogue-to-digital audio with 24-bit/48KHz resolution. It uses a unidirectional polar cardioid pattern, so it should be able to block out mouse clicks and keyboard clacking.

The Capsule Mini comes with a little stock desk stand, but if you'd rather lift the mic up off of the desk, then you can also find the Boom Arm Mini, offering a smaller and more manageable boom arm option compared to most standard full-size offerings. It isn't as long as a traditional arm, making this ideal for smaller desk setups where space management is of importance.

The NZXT Capsule Mini microphone and the Boom Arm Mini will be available soon, priced at £59.99 each. The microphone is available in black and white colour options, while the boom arm is only available in black.

KitGuru Says: As someone with a bit of a cramped desk, this looks like an excellent option for saving space compared to a full-size mic and boom arm setup. Now we'll have to wait and see reviews to see how well it all works together.
