CES 2023: Thermaltake shows off new magnetic quick-connect RGB fans

We've been catching up with Thermaltake at CES 2023 this week. Alongside new cases and coolers, TT also announced its new SWAFAN series. These are swappable fans, with a magnetic quick-connect system, allowing you to easily daisy chain fans together for easy installation.

Available in 120mm and 140mm sizes, the Swafan EX RGB series was designed to reduce clutter for easier cable management. Thanks to the Magnetic Force design employed on the fan's power cable and frame, you can daisy chain up to three fans with a single 12V cable and attach them effortlessly using the magnets.

The SWAFAN features a swappable blade design, packing six detachable blades (three standard fan blades preinstalled and three reverse fan blades). By altering the fan blades, you can change the airflow pressure and air volume to your liking while retaining the RGB lighting. Like the blades, the bearings are also detachable, allowing you to clean the fan easily.

Each fan has 20 ARGB LEDs, with 14 on the outer ring and six on the inner circle. The RGB lighting can be configured via TT RGB Plus 2.0 or NeonMaker. Designed for both radiators and cases, the fans are sold in 3-fan packs.

KitGuru says: Daisy chaining seems to be the next frontier for case fans. Would you like to upgrade your case fans to a set of these?
