Game Pass Starter Edition to include at least 50 titles, leaker claims

Over the past week, dataminers have discovered references to a new ‘Starter Edition' tier of Game Pass, one that lowers the price floor further with a limited selection of games. Now thanks to one notorious leaker, we know what titles Microsoft is targeting for this new Game Pass tier.

Billbil-kun, who has made a name for themselves with various PlayStation leaks over the years, has revealed what he believes to be the full list of 50 titles planned to be available as part of the Game Pass Starter Edition. This cheaper version of Game Pass would seemingly be console-only, but would not offer access to online multiplayer.

The full list of titles includes a mix of back catalogue classics like Among Us, Batman: Arkham Knight, Fable Anniversary, Gears 5, Hellblade, Fallout 76, Fallout 4, Dead Cells, Elder Scrolls Online and Dishonored 2. There are newer titles available too, including the likes of Cities: Skylines Remastered, Chivalry 2, DOOM Eternal, Vampire Survivors, TMNT: Shredder's Revenge, Psychonauts 2 and more.

The complete list of planned Game Pass Starter Edition titles can be found on Dealabs.

KitGuru Says: Without access to online multiplayer, most Xbox players are likely to be better off with the standard Game Pass tier. Still, this would be a quick fix to make Game Pass more flexible, in combination with recent price reductions to Game Pass Ultimate and PC Game Pass.
