Valve reveals the most-played games on Steam Deck

The Steam Deck has been hugely successful for Valve, with many gamers picking up the handheld to play everything from the latest AAA titles to smaller indie games. Each month, Valve has been revealing the most played games on the Deck. In March, we saw some new additions to the most played games list. 

Valve has shared the top 20 most played games on Steam Deck in March 2023. At the top of the list, you'll find none other than Hogwarts Legacy, which sold millions of copies at its launch in February, despite some controversies surrounding the Harry Potter IP and its creator. Elden Ring is in the number two spot, showing that From Software's latest release is still incredibly popular over a year on from launch.

Seeing indies like Vampire Survivors, Dead Cells, Brotato, Hades and Slay the Spire on the list shows that a lot of Deck users are exploring more of Steam's library, beyond the Triple A offerings. Brotato and Vampire Survivors both making the list goes to show that auto-attack roguelikes are swiftly becoming popular.
