Diablo IV is not coming to Xbox Game Pass

Diablo IV is the next big game set to come from Activision Blizzard, and while the acquisition by Microsoft has yet to go through, fans were beginning to wonder whether the upcoming ARPG would find its way on Xbox’s Game Pass service. Unfortunately – though unsurprisingly – this will not be the case.

Releasing a statement via Twitter, Rod Fergusson, the General Manager for Diablo explained to fans: “It's awesome seeing the excitement around the Diablo IV Beta, and our Wolf Pack puppy! We’ve been getting some questions about D4 on Game Pass and I want to let you know we have no plans for that. See you in Sanctuary during the Beta Early Access weekend starting on March 17!”

Though it was perhaps a stretch to expect Diablo IV to come to Game Pass Day-One (especially with the ongoing legalese surrounding the acquisition) what we have seen of Diablo IV seems to justify its price tag. That said, should the acquisition go through, Diablo IV will almost definitely make its way onto Microsoft’s subscription service. We will have to wait and see what becomes of the acquisition.

KitGuru Games: Predicting the Next Half a Decade of Call of Duty Releases

Benjamin Franklin (1706-1790) famously once said: “The three absolutes in life are death, taxes and a new Call of Duty coming out every single year”. Sure enough, the US founding father has yet to be proven wrong, with Activision and a dozen studios having ensured that come the tail-end of any given year, there will be a new COD ready to release. And so, what can we expect from the franchise later this year? What about 2027, 2028 or even 2030? By looking back at the past two decades of Call of Duty games, their trends, progression and regression, I believe I can predict the next 5 years worth of annual COD entries.
