Super Mario Bros. Movie Direct announced

The Super Mario Bros. Movie is set to be huge for Nintendo, with fans across the world both hardcore and casual alike seemingly excited to see what the minds at Nintendo and Illumination have in store for the Italian plumber. Ahead of the film’s premiere on the 7th of April, Nintendo has announced a Direct dedicated to the upcoming film, giving us a look at its final trailer.

Making the announcement on Twitter, the official Nintendo page said “Join us at 2:00 p.m. PT [10 p.m. UK Time] on [the 9th of March] for the world premiere of The Super Mario Bros. Movie's final trailer! No game information will be included in this #NintendoDirect.”

Alongside the announcement Nintendo released another bit of promotional art for the film, showing a bunch of characters drifting along a bright and colourful Rainbow Road as they are being chased by a Blue Shell.

While we have already seen a decent amount from the film, it would be good to get a deeper look at how the world itself works. Of course, we have already been treated to a litany of easter eggs and references to the Mario franchise, but it would be good to get a story-focused trailer which shows off the logic of the world a bit more. We will have to wait and see when the Direct goes live on the 9th of March.

KitGuru Games: Predicting the Next Half a Decade of Call of Duty Releases

Benjamin Franklin (1706-1790) famously once said: “The three absolutes in life are death, taxes and a new Call of Duty coming out every single year”. Sure enough, the US founding father has yet to be proven wrong, with Activision and a dozen studios having ensured that come the tail-end of any given year, there will be a new COD ready to release. And so, what can we expect from the franchise later this year? What about 2027, 2028 or even 2030? By looking back at the past two decades of Call of Duty games, their trends, progression and regression, I believe I can predict the next 5 years worth of annual COD entries.
