Diablo 4 is getting an open beta next month

A few weeks ago, Diablo 4 producer, Rod Fergusson, made it clear on Twitter that an open beta announcement would be happening soon. Many of us anticipated that this would line up with IGN Fan Fest over the weekend and that turned out to be exactly right. During IGN's stream, Blizzard announced that the Diablo 4 beta would be coming in March.

Blizzard has already been running private beta tests for the game over the past few months, resulting in numerous leaks. In March, everyone will have the opportunity to try the game out a few months ahead of its June release date.

Pre-order customers will get early access, allowing them to play the beta from the 17th of March until the 19th. On the 24th of March, the open beta will go live, free for all to download across PC and consoles. The open beta won't be running for very long though, with Blizzard planning to close off access on the 26th of March.

After the beta, Blizzard will be focused on the road to launch. Assuming there are no last-minute delays, Diablo 4 will release on the 6th of June for PC and consoles.

KitGuru Games: Predicting the Next Half a Decade of Call of Duty Releases

Benjamin Franklin (1706-1790) famously once said: “The three absolutes in life are death, taxes and a new Call of Duty coming out every single year”. Sure enough, the US founding father has yet to be proven wrong, with Activision and a dozen studios having ensured that come the tail-end of any given year, there will be a new COD ready to release. And so, what can we expect from the franchise later this year? What about 2027, 2028 or even 2030? By looking back at the past two decades of Call of Duty games, their trends, progression and regression, I believe I can predict the next 5 years worth of annual COD entries.
