Elden Ring surpasses 20 million copies sold

Elden Ring got off to an impressive start last year, with the game quickly outpacing previous From Software titles in sales. Even one year on from launch, the game continues to surpass milestones.

As of this month, Elden Ring has sold 20 million copies worldwide, Bandai Namco has announced. The publisher also confirmed that this figure includes digital and physical sales across all available platforms.

As of March 2022, the entire Dark Souls series combined has sold 32 million copies. If things keep up, Elden Ring could potentially catch up to the Souls series in overall sales.

While we're sure more Elden Ring is in From Software's future, there will be another IP taking the spotlight in the not-too-distant future – Armored Core. There hasn't been a game in this series in more than a decade, but that will finally change with Armored Core VI: Fires of Rubicon, which is set to launch on the PC, Xbox Series X/S and PS5.

KitGuru Games: Predicting the Next Half a Decade of Call of Duty Releases

Benjamin Franklin (1706-1790) famously once said: “The three absolutes in life are death, taxes and a new Call of Duty coming out every single year”. Sure enough, the US founding father has yet to be proven wrong, with Activision and a dozen studios having ensured that come the tail-end of any given year, there will be a new COD ready to release. And so, what can we expect from the franchise later this year? What about 2027, 2028 or even 2030? By looking back at the past two decades of Call of Duty games, their trends, progression and regression, I believe I can predict the next 5 years worth of annual COD entries.
