Amazon now has its own CPU air cooler

Amazon has plenty of cheap electronic accessories available under its Amazon Basics brand, but the company is now taking things a step further and getting into PC components. This week, Amazon launched its own CPU tower air cooler.

A quick look at Amazon Basics air cooler might be enough to see some familiarities with other coolers. That's because the Amazon Basics cooler is a rebranded Cooler Master Hyper H410R RGB. You can confirm it by comparing the item model number of both models. While Amazon's cooler has the RR-H410-20PC-AS model number, Cooler Master's cooler has the RR-H410-20PC-R1. Performance should also be similar because they're practically the same CPU cooler.

Like the Hyper H410R RGB, the Amazon Basics cooler features a 92mm RGB LED fan that runs between 600-2000RPM, with a maximum noise level of 29.38 dBA. The aluminium heatsink transfers heat from the CPU through four direct-contact heat pipes. Socket support includes Intel LGA 1700/1200/1151/1150/1155/1156 and AMD AM4/AM5.

The Amazon Basics CPU tower air cooler is now available for £20.72/$26.99.
