Sources claim Forza Motorsport will be delayed

While Microsoft initially announced plans to launch Forza Motorsport in the first half of 2023, a lack of release date announced during the recent Developer Direct stream has sparked rumours of delays.

According to games reporter, Jeff Grubb, multiple sources have told him that Forza is likely to slip into the second half of the year. With the release date fluctuating, Turn 10 did not announce a date for the game during the show this week, opting for a simple 2023 release window instead.

If Forza misses the first half of the year, then it may end up arriving in Q3 instead, putting it somewhere between July and the end of September.

There have also been rumours that another major Xbox exclusive could be delayed to later in the year – Starfield. Currently, Bethesda's upcoming sci-fi RPG also does not have a release date, although there is talk of Starfield getting its own Developer Direct stream in the not too distant future.

KitGuru Games: Predicting the Next Half a Decade of Call of Duty Releases

Benjamin Franklin (1706-1790) famously once said: “The three absolutes in life are death, taxes and a new Call of Duty coming out every single year”. Sure enough, the US founding father has yet to be proven wrong, with Activision and a dozen studios having ensured that come the tail-end of any given year, there will be a new COD ready to release. And so, what can we expect from the franchise later this year? What about 2027, 2028 or even 2030? By looking back at the past two decades of Call of Duty games, their trends, progression and regression, I believe I can predict the next 5 years worth of annual COD entries.
