Epic Games Store is giving away 15 free titles this Christmas

Epic Games have been giving away free games every week for years now. Most excitingly, the storefront has made a habit of offering over a dozen games for free each year during the Christmas period. This annual tradition is now back, with the Epic Games Store giving a game away for free every day from now until the end of the year.

Making the announcement on their blog, Epic Games’ Craig Pearson announced the PC store front’s end of year sales, which includes unlimited 25% off coupons for use on all titles above £11.99 – including titles already on sale.

That is not all however, as has now become a tradition, the Epic Games Store is giving away 15 free games over the next two weeks, with Pearson saying “The Epic Games Store Holiday Sale 2022 wouldn’t be the same without a free game to unwrap every day for the duration of the sale. Day One’s game has just unlocked…”

The game in question is Bloons TD 6 – a highly popular and well-loved tower defence title released back in 2018, featuring 4-player co-op; a dozen heroes; over 60 maps and 100 upgrades – and the game is continuing to be updated to this day.

Bloons TD 6 is available to add to your library right now, and will remain so until 4PM UK time today, at which point another as-of-yet-unknown title will be replacing it. Of course, as long as you add the games to your library, they will remain there indefinitely, meaning there is no reason not to pick these games up.

SplitGate team reportedly developing a Titanfall successor

1047 Games found a ton of success back in 2019 when they released SplitGate: a fun and fast-paced arena shooter in the vein of classic Halo, while adding a twist in the form of portals which players could place around the map for strategic plays. While its sequel has failed to make the same level of splash, the team are apparently working on a brand new game – this one being inspired by Titanfall.
