Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty gets bombastic “Action Trailer”

Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty is the next major title set to be released by Team Ninja of Nioh and Ninja Gaiden fame. Following the demo which was made available back in September, a new action-packed trailer has been released – showing multiple boss fights, giant enemies and a lot of combat.

Available to pre-order for £54.99 ahead of its 3rd of March release date, Koei Tecmo released a new trailer for Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty. Dubbed the ‘Action Trailer’, the description reads as follows: “Take on the demon-plagued Three Kingdoms and overcome the odds of deadly combat!  Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty is available for pre-order now.”

In the trailer itself we see the player character taking on a wide variety of enemies, from humans to giant demented and feral beasts. Furthermore, we see a second character fighting alongside the MC, and while we know that the game will feature online co-op it is currently unknown whether that is what we are seeing here, or if there is some other mechanic at play.

The game seems to offer a great deal of variety with its enemies, not only in how they look but also the skills and techniques required to dispatch them.

Though a new IP, Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty feels very much like a spiritual successor to Nioh and Nioh 2, taking the learnings from those games and adding to them. It will be interesting to see just how Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty is received when the game releases on the 3rd of March 2023.

KitGuru Games: Predicting the Next Half a Decade of Call of Duty Releases

Benjamin Franklin (1706-1790) famously once said: “The three absolutes in life are death, taxes and a new Call of Duty coming out every single year”. Sure enough, the US founding father has yet to be proven wrong, with Activision and a dozen studios having ensured that come the tail-end of any given year, there will be a new COD ready to release. And so, what can we expect from the franchise later this year? What about 2027, 2028 or even 2030? By looking back at the past two decades of Call of Duty games, their trends, progression and regression, I believe I can predict the next 5 years worth of annual COD entries.
