Monster Hunter Rise is reportedly coming to Xbox and PlayStation as well as Game Pass

Monster Hunter Rise has had an excellent reception already on PC and Nintendo Switch, but soon it looks like Xbox and PlayStation players will also be able to pick up the game.

According to Insider Gaming, Capcom is going to release Monster Hunter Rise on Xbox Series X/S, Xbox One, PS4 and PS5 in January 2023. It is unclear if the Sunbreak expansion will also be made available at the same time.

Aside from expanded platform support, Microsoft has apparently struck a deal with Capcom to bring the game to Xbox Game Pass, but for now it is unclear if the game will be on Game Pass for console as well as PC.

Given the timing of the leak, it seems this will likely be announced officially at The Game Awards on the 8th of December.

KitGuru Games: Predicting the Next Half a Decade of Call of Duty Releases

Benjamin Franklin (1706-1790) famously once said: “The three absolutes in life are death, taxes and a new Call of Duty coming out every single year”. Sure enough, the US founding father has yet to be proven wrong, with Activision and a dozen studios having ensured that come the tail-end of any given year, there will be a new COD ready to release. And so, what can we expect from the franchise later this year? What about 2027, 2028 or even 2030? By looking back at the past two decades of Call of Duty games, their trends, progression and regression, I believe I can predict the next 5 years worth of annual COD entries.
