Monster Hunter Rise will release on PC next year

Monster Hunter Rise is set for a big launch on Nintendo Switch next month, but the game won't remain exclusive to Nintendo's platform forever. This week, Capcom confirmed that this game will also be coming to PC, but not until 2022.

According to Monster Hunter Rise producer, Ryozo Tsujimoto, speaking with IGN, due to the number of requests from PC players, the game will also be coming to PC in “early 2022”.

Here is the full quote: “We received a lot of requests for a PC version of Monster Hunter Rise, particularly from overseas players, and so we have decided to develop a version for PC, which we aim to release in early 2022. This is still under development, so I’d like to share more detailed information when the time is right.”

Monster Hunter Rise is currently set to release on the Nintendo Switch next month and was designed with that console's capabilities in mind. The PC version is in the early stages of development, so we should hear more on that later in the year.
