Hearthstone is finally getting a Death Knight class with new Lich King expansion

Hearthstone has gone through plenty of changes over the years, with Blizzard implementing new modes and card sets over the years, but the core game has remained the same with the same set of playable classes. Now, with the next expansion, Blizzard will finally be introducing a new playable class – Death Knight.

The upcoming March of the Lich King expansion for Hearthstone will also add Death Knight as a playable class. Due to a new class entering the game, the full set of expansion cards sits at 203 new cards, with 32 of those being free ‘core' cards for the new class. The remainder will have to be acquired by opening up new March of the Lich King packs, or through Hearthstone's crafting system.

Of the 203 new cards joining the game, 68 cards are specifically for the Death Knight class, so we'll also see new cards for other classes as well and likely some new neutral cards too.

As there is a new class joining the game, players will have to learn new tricks to play effectively. To help with this, Blizzard has already released a guide detailing the new class ability for Death Knight and other new mechanics, such as the rune system.

The new Hearthstone March of the Lich King expansion is launching on the 6th of December.

KitGuru Games: Predicting the Next Half a Decade of Call of Duty Releases

Benjamin Franklin (1706-1790) famously once said: “The three absolutes in life are death, taxes and a new Call of Duty coming out every single year”. Sure enough, the US founding father has yet to be proven wrong, with Activision and a dozen studios having ensured that come the tail-end of any given year, there will be a new COD ready to release. And so, what can we expect from the franchise later this year? What about 2027, 2028 or even 2030? By looking back at the past two decades of Call of Duty games, their trends, progression and regression, I believe I can predict the next 5 years worth of annual COD entries.
