Fortnite is getting a Dragon Ball crossover

A few weeks ago, leaks revealed that Fortnite had another big anime collaboration in the works. Following on from a recent Naruto-themed event, Epic is now bringing Dragon Ball to Fortnite.

Epic officially teased the new crossover event on Twitter, publishing an image of Shenron hovering above the map, hinting at the idea that players will be able to find the Dragon Balls in-game to obtain some kind of reward.

The event will have skins for several popular Dragon Ball characters, including the likes of Goku, Vegeta and possibly Beerus too, according to previous leaks. Other cosmetics found include Super Saiyan versions of Goku and Vegeta, a Capsule Corp glider and more.

Epic hasn't announced official details of the collaboration yet, but it will be going live on the 16th of August, so expect more information very soon.

KitGuru Says: After the success of the Naruto crossover, it makes sense to explore other popular anime like Dragon Ball. Are there any other anime series you would like to see crossovers for in video games?

KitGuru Games: Predicting the Next Half a Decade of Call of Duty Releases

Benjamin Franklin (1706-1790) famously once said: “The three absolutes in life are death, taxes and a new Call of Duty coming out every single year”. Sure enough, the US founding father has yet to be proven wrong, with Activision and a dozen studios having ensured that come the tail-end of any given year, there will be a new COD ready to release. And so, what can we expect from the franchise later this year? What about 2027, 2028 or even 2030? By looking back at the past two decades of Call of Duty games, their trends, progression and regression, I believe I can predict the next 5 years worth of annual COD entries.
