Forza Horizon 5 is getting a Hot Wheels expansion next month

As we learned during the Xbox and Bethesda showcase this evening, Turn 10's upcoming Forza Motorsport isn't releasing until Spring next year. If you need some new Forza content this year, then you'll need to turn your attention to Forza Horizon 5, which is getting its first major expansion next month in collaboration with Hot Wheels.

After a great showing in Forza Horizon 3, Playground has partnered with Hot Wheels again for a new expansion to Forza Horizon 5. The new expansion will release on the 19th of July, bringing the ability to design your own Hot Wheels tracks using over 80 distinct, snappable track pieces.

The expansion will also include 10 new cars to add to your garage, including the 2000 Hot Wheels Deora II. Anyone who owns the Premium Add Ons bundle for Forza Horizon 5 will get automatic access to the expansion as soon as it releases.

Forza Horizon 5: Hot Wheels initially leaked a few days ago, with artwork appearing on Steam. With that in mind, its appearance today was not a surprise, but the trailer looks great and we'll most definitely see some interesting tracks shared by fellow players in the months to come.

KitGuru Games: Predicting the Next Half a Decade of Call of Duty Releases

Benjamin Franklin (1706-1790) famously once said: “The three absolutes in life are death, taxes and a new Call of Duty coming out every single year”. Sure enough, the US founding father has yet to be proven wrong, with Activision and a dozen studios having ensured that come the tail-end of any given year, there will be a new COD ready to release. And so, what can we expect from the franchise later this year? What about 2027, 2028 or even 2030? By looking back at the past two decades of Call of Duty games, their trends, progression and regression, I believe I can predict the next 5 years worth of annual COD entries.
