Razer launches Barracuda series headphones with dual-wireless

Razer is revamping its headphone line-up this week with the new Barracuda series. The Razer Barracuda X, Barracuda and Barracuda Pro are all launching today, designed to be your go-to headphones for everything from gaming at your PC, to listening to music or watching videos from your phone while on the go.

Starting with the Razer Barracuda Pro, this headset can be connected to two devices at the same time, and you can switch seamlessly between the two as needed thanks to Razer SmartSwitch Dual Wireless. The headset also features Hybrid Active Noise Cancellation Technology, so you can block out any outside noise and focus on whatever you are listening to in any environment.

Under the ear cups, you will find Razer's TriForce Bio-Cellulose 50mm drivers, with a THX Achromatic Audio Amplifier, and support for THX Spatial Audio. On a single charge, the Barracuda Pro should offer up to 40 hours of use. You can also connect the headset to legacy devices with a 3.5mm jack cable.

The cheaper standard Barracuda and Barracuda X offer a different mix of features. For instance, the Barracuda X has 40mm drivers instead, but retains the dual-wireless functionality. You can see the specs and features for each headset outlined below:

KitGuru Games: Predicting the Next Half a Decade of Call of Duty Releases

Benjamin Franklin (1706-1790) famously once said: “The three absolutes in life are death, taxes and a new Call of Duty coming out every single year”. Sure enough, the US founding father has yet to be proven wrong, with Activision and a dozen studios having ensured that come the tail-end of any given year, there will be a new COD ready to release. And so, what can we expect from the franchise later this year? What about 2027, 2028 or even 2030? By looking back at the past two decades of Call of Duty games, their trends, progression and regression, I believe I can predict the next 5 years worth of annual COD entries.
