Sword Art Online, Lords of the Fallen and Tomb Raider are free with PlayStation Plus this month

Following on from leaks last week, Sony has officially announced the next round of free games for PlayStation Plus subscribers. In April, those subscribed to the lowest tier (or higher) will get three free games to claim, including the 2023 reboot of Lords of the Fallen.

Lords of the Fallen first came out in 2014 and did garner popularity back then, even spawning a sequel. In 2023, the series was rebooted with a brand new game set in a much larger world and faster combat. On April 7th, the PS5 version of the game will be free to claim for all PlayStation Plus subscribers.

The two other titles being made available are also big hitters. For starters, you can claim the PS5 version of Tomb Raider 1-3 Remastered, an excellent collection of the original three Tomb Raider games.

On top of that, anime fans will get their fix via Sword Art Online: Fractured Daydream, the latest spin-off game telling an original story set in the Sword Art Online universe. While this is a single-player game, it does also pack online multiplayer modes.
