Microsoft Flight Simulator’s UK-focused World Update now available

While Asobo Studio had planned to ship Microsoft Flight Simulator’s UK and Ireland focused World Update last week, it was eventually delayed for some extra polish. Now, the massive World Update 3 is officially rolling out today.

Microsoft Flight Simulator has had two other major World Updates since launch, one focusing on adding more landmarks to the United States and another focused on Japan. The third update is focused on the UK and Ireland, with plans to add around 80 new points of interest.

These points of interest will include new handcrafted airports, new cities and recreations of big landmarks like Stonehenge, Buckingham Palace, Windsor Castle, Warwick Castle, Blenheim Palace, London Eye and more.

Microsoft Flight Simulator World Update 3 goes live sometime between 16:00 and 17:00 GMT.

KitGuru Games: Predicting the Next Half a Decade of Call of Duty Releases

Benjamin Franklin (1706-1790) famously once said: “The three absolutes in life are death, taxes and a new Call of Duty coming out every single year”. Sure enough, the US founding father has yet to be proven wrong, with Activision and a dozen studios having ensured that come the tail-end of any given year, there will be a new COD ready to release. And so, what can we expect from the franchise later this year? What about 2027, 2028 or even 2030? By looking back at the past two decades of Call of Duty games, their trends, progression and regression, I believe I can predict the next 5 years worth of annual COD entries.
