Final Fantasy XIV: Endwalker expansion announced for 2021

This week, Square Enix announced the next expansion for Final Fantasy XIV. The new expansion will be called ‘Endwalker' and it is coming out later this year.

The Shadowbringers story was wrapped up in late 2020, leaving this year wide open for new content. The new Endwalker expansion will be coming out in ‘Autumn 2021', so it is at least six months away from launch.

Square Enix describes Endwalker as a ‘new beginning' for the game. It will include new jobs, locations, an increased level cap and new elements to the combat system.

This expansion will finish off a story arc that began all the way back in A Realm Reborn, sending players on a long journey that somehow includes being on the moon at some point.

KitGuru Games: Predicting the Next Half a Decade of Call of Duty Releases

Benjamin Franklin (1706-1790) famously once said: “The three absolutes in life are death, taxes and a new Call of Duty coming out every single year”. Sure enough, the US founding father has yet to be proven wrong, with Activision and a dozen studios having ensured that come the tail-end of any given year, there will be a new COD ready to release. And so, what can we expect from the franchise later this year? What about 2027, 2028 or even 2030? By looking back at the past two decades of Call of Duty games, their trends, progression and regression, I believe I can predict the next 5 years worth of annual COD entries.
