Hitman 3 VR could come to PC eventually

Sony has sneakily bagged itself an early 2021 exclusive this month with the launch of Hitman 3. While Hitman 3 itself is multi-platform, the VR version of the game is currently exclusive to PlayStation VR. That could change in the future though, as dataminers have discovered evidence of a PC version.

Hitman 3 VR could be coming to PC. Reddit user u/UnwantedTelemarketer took to the site to share some code references they found while digging through the Hitman 3 PC files. The PC version does include files for the VR version of the game.

Not only are there a ton of VR files in the PC version, but there are also specific references to Oculus, indicating that the game can run on PC headsets and not just PSVR.

At the moment, Sony seems to have a timed exclusive deal in place for Hitman 3 on PSVR, so it could be a while before it comes to PC. Still, the files are there, so we should get access to this version eventually.

KitGuru Says: Hopefully IO Interactive does eventually unlock VR support for the PC version. I'm still quite disappointed that Capcom never did that for Resident Evil VII, even after the exclusivity deal ran its course. Would many of you like to try Hitman 3 in VR on a PC?

KitGuru Games: Predicting the Next Half a Decade of Call of Duty Releases

Benjamin Franklin (1706-1790) famously once said: “The three absolutes in life are death, taxes and a new Call of Duty coming out every single year”. Sure enough, the US founding father has yet to be proven wrong, with Activision and a dozen studios having ensured that come the tail-end of any given year, there will be a new COD ready to release. And so, what can we expect from the franchise later this year? What about 2027, 2028 or even 2030? By looking back at the past two decades of Call of Duty games, their trends, progression and regression, I believe I can predict the next 5 years worth of annual COD entries.
