Injustice 2 and Torchlight III headline Xbox Game Pass January update

We've entered a new month and as a result, we've got new games to look forward to on Xbox Game Pass. Today, Microsoft announced the January line-up, which will see Injustice 2 return to the service, in addition to a few other titles across PC, Console and Android (xCloud Streaming).

Starting this week on the 7th of January, eFootball PES 2021 will be available via Game Pass on console and Android, as will The Little Acre. Meanwhile, Injustice 2 will be coming to Game Pass on the same date but for all platforms, PC included.

Then on the 14th of January, four more games will be added to Xbox Game Pass:

  • Neoverse (PC)
  • Torchlight III (Android and Console)
  • What Remains of Edith Finch (PC)
  • YIIK: A Postmodern RPG (PC)

That's just the first two weeks of Xbox Game Pass updates for the month, in mid January, we will get another announcement for the late January additions to the library.

Benjamin Franklin (1706-1790) famously once said: “The three absolutes in life are death, taxes and a new Call of Duty coming out every single year”. And so, what can we expect from the franchise later this year? What about 2027, 2028 or even 2030? By looking back at the past two decades of Call of Duty games, their trends, progression and regression, I believe I can predict the next 5 years worth of annual COD entries.
