BioWare teases Dragon Age 4 with new trailer at The Game Awards

BioWare and EA first teased the next Dragon Age at The Game Awards 2018, which was immediately followed by reports that the game was still ‘years away'. Now for The Game Awards 2020, Dragon Age 4 returns with a new official teaser.

The trailer is short, coming in at just over a minute long, which oddly enough, is shorter than the Mass Effect teaser we got last night.

The trailer gives us a look at a bunch of cave paintings, followed by a brief look the world we'll be exploring and some of the beasts and foes we'll be fighting. The trailer ends with a worried looking Solas from Dragon Age Inquisition, so we can expect some continuity from that game.

In a separate blog post, BioWare promises “rich, branching narratives, choices with consequences and intriguing characters” – y'know, RPG stuff. Unfortunately, that's all the information we have for now, as BioWare is being cautious when it comes to revealing story details, or even a general release year. Hopefully more news will come in 2021.

KitGuru Games: Predicting the Next Half a Decade of Call of Duty Releases

Benjamin Franklin (1706-1790) famously once said: “The three absolutes in life are death, taxes and a new Call of Duty coming out every single year”. Sure enough, the US founding father has yet to be proven wrong, with Activision and a dozen studios having ensured that come the tail-end of any given year, there will be a new COD ready to release. And so, what can we expect from the franchise later this year? What about 2027, 2028 or even 2030? By looking back at the past two decades of Call of Duty games, their trends, progression and regression, I believe I can predict the next 5 years worth of annual COD entries.
