World of Warcraft: Shadowlands gets a new release date

Back at the start of the month, Blizzard officially delayed World of Warcraft: Shadowlands. We knew that the expansion would still be coming before the end of the year but an exact new date was not confirmed. That changes today, with Shadowlands now getting its new release date.

World of Warcraft: Shadowlands will now be releasing on the 23rd of November. Meanwhile, the pre-expansion event will begin on the 10th of November.

Speaking about the improvements made due to the extra development time, Blizzard said: “We've used the time to further polish the expansion and shore up the endgame, including overhauling the combat and rewards in The Maw, and reworking the Covenant systems to make your choice more immediately impactful and have clearer long-term goals”.

On the 8th of December, Shadowlands' Castle Nathria raid will also open up.

KitGuru Says: Shadowlands is coming a month later than initially expected but it sounds like the extra development time has made an impact. Are many of you planning on jumping in once the new expansion launches?

KitGuru Games: Predicting the Next Half a Decade of Call of Duty Releases

Benjamin Franklin (1706-1790) famously once said: “The three absolutes in life are death, taxes and a new Call of Duty coming out every single year”. Sure enough, the US founding father has yet to be proven wrong, with Activision and a dozen studios having ensured that come the tail-end of any given year, there will be a new COD ready to release. And so, what can we expect from the franchise later this year? What about 2027, 2028 or even 2030? By looking back at the past two decades of Call of Duty games, their trends, progression and regression, I believe I can predict the next 5 years worth of annual COD entries.
