Bravely Default II is coming to Nintendo Switch in February 2021

We've been waiting on an official update on Bravely Default II for quite some time now. The demo released earlier this year and up until today, it also had a vague ‘2020' release window. Now, Square Enix has all of its ducks in a row, announcing a proper release date for next year.

As part of today's mini Nintendo Direct, Bravely Default II got a new trailer, as well as a release date announcement. Square Enix's next Switch exclusive RPG is coming on the 26th of February.

Here is the newly revised description for the game:

“Brought together by fate, four heroes will embark on a great voyage in the beautiful and engaging role-playing game BRAVELY DEFAULT II from SQUARE ENIX, the creators of the FINAL FANTASY series. In the series’ new adventure, players will set off on an epic journey, visiting stunning locations, meeting intriguing characters and battling dastardly villains. By defeating enemies called Asterisk bearers, the heroes will acquire Asterisks, which allow them to change jobs. ”

Following the release of the demo earlier this year, the development team gathered feedback and implemented some changes. That includes changes to difficulty, controls and battle mechanics.

KitGuru Says: While it is a shame that this won't be making it out before the end of this year, the delay isn't too severe. Are many of you looking forward to Bravely Default II?

KitGuru Games: Predicting the Next Half a Decade of Call of Duty Releases

Benjamin Franklin (1706-1790) famously once said: “The three absolutes in life are death, taxes and a new Call of Duty coming out every single year”. Sure enough, the US founding father has yet to be proven wrong, with Activision and a dozen studios having ensured that come the tail-end of any given year, there will be a new COD ready to release. And so, what can we expect from the franchise later this year? What about 2027, 2028 or even 2030? By looking back at the past two decades of Call of Duty games, their trends, progression and regression, I believe I can predict the next 5 years worth of annual COD entries.
