Skyforge is heading to the Nintendo Switch

Skyforge garnered a lot of attention back at release, in part due to a collaboration with Obsidian Entertainment. The game has remained alive and updated over the years and now, the MMO is heading to the Nintendo Switch.

Skyforge puts players on the planet Aelion and tasks them with defending it from invasion. Along the way, you'll level up and acquire “divine powers”, while tackling quests inspired by both fantasy and science fiction.

Skyforge will be available as a free download on the Nintendo Switch eShop later this autumn. Since this is a free to play game, a Nintendo Switch Online subscription is not required to play either and future content updates will also be available for free.

MY.GAMES and Allods Team have confirmed that the game is playable in all Switch modes, meaning TV, handheld and tabletop modes. The Joy-Cons and Pro Controller are supported too.

KitGuru Says: Unfortunately there is no specific date available, but Skyforge should be hitting the Switch very soon. Did many of you play this back at launch? Are you thinking about jumping back in?

KitGuru Games: Predicting the Next Half a Decade of Call of Duty Releases

Benjamin Franklin (1706-1790) famously once said: “The three absolutes in life are death, taxes and a new Call of Duty coming out every single year”. Sure enough, the US founding father has yet to be proven wrong, with Activision and a dozen studios having ensured that come the tail-end of any given year, there will be a new COD ready to release. And so, what can we expect from the franchise later this year? What about 2027, 2028 or even 2030? By looking back at the past two decades of Call of Duty games, their trends, progression and regression, I believe I can predict the next 5 years worth of annual COD entries.
