Prince of Persia: Sands of Time remake leaks ahead of Ubisoft Forward

Ubisoft Forward is just a few hours away from taking place, but leaks appear to be spoiling some of the surprises. We have already heard rumours that a Prince of Persia remake is due to be announced but now thanks to Ubisoft's own uPlay launcher, the game has been confirmed.

Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time Remake is due to be announced later today. Over on uPlay in Russia, two banner images of the game went live early, giving a very brief look at what to expect visually:

The images appear to be from cinematic scenes of the remake for the 2003 game. People have already been quick to criticise the Prince's new look in particular, but there is still plenty to learn about this game.

We can expect a full announcement and hopefully a trailer to go with it later this evening after Ubisoft Forward.

KitGuru Says: Prince of Persia looks set to make a long awaited comeback, although this will need to live up to the likes of Crash Bandicoot N.Sane Trilogy and the Spyro remakes, a less ambitious remaster is likely just going to cause disappointment. We should learn more in just a few hours time.

KitGuru Games: Predicting the Next Half a Decade of Call of Duty Releases

Benjamin Franklin (1706-1790) famously once said: “The three absolutes in life are death, taxes and a new Call of Duty coming out every single year”. Sure enough, the US founding father has yet to be proven wrong, with Activision and a dozen studios having ensured that come the tail-end of any given year, there will be a new COD ready to release. And so, what can we expect from the franchise later this year? What about 2027, 2028 or even 2030? By looking back at the past two decades of Call of Duty games, their trends, progression and regression, I believe I can predict the next 5 years worth of annual COD entries.
