Treyarch offers full deep-dive into Black Ops 7 Zombies

In the lead up to Call of Duty: Black Ops 7, Treyarch has been slowly-but-surely sharing new details regarding the upcoming shooter. Following its recent multiplayer deep-dive, the team have now revealed all there is to know about BO7’s upcoming Zombies mode.

Taking to their blog to offer all the details, the COD team shared “extensive intel” regarding Black Ops 7’s Zombies mode. The full blog post can be found HERE, but some of the most notable details include:

  • A first look at the new Wonder Weapon ‘Necrofluid Gauntlet’
  • New zombie types (Ravagers, Zursa Zombie bear, tweaked armoured zombies)
  • New jump pads for improved traversal
  • New ‘Cursed' mode (featuring classic points system and more legacy features)
  • Quality-of-life changes to power-ups
  • New Perk (Wisp Tea)
  • New/Returning Ammo Mod (Fire Works)
  • New/Returning Field Upgrade (Toxic Growth)
  • Additional Augments for all returning perks
  • Countless Quality-of-life additions / improvements

Black Ops 7 has a bit of a tough climb ahead of it, especially with Battlefield 6 right around the corner. That said, between the campaign, multiplayer and now zombies, it appears as though Treyarch are making all of the right decisions.

KitGuru Games: Predicting the Next Half a Decade of Call of Duty Releases

Benjamin Franklin (1706-1790) famously once said: “The three absolutes in life are death, taxes and a new Call of Duty coming out every single year”. Sure enough, the US founding father has yet to be proven wrong, with Activision and a dozen studios having ensured that come the tail-end of any given year, there will be a new COD ready to release. And so, what can we expect from the franchise later this year? What about 2027, 2028 or even 2030? By looking back at the past two decades of Call of Duty games, their trends, progression and regression, I believe I can predict the next 5 years worth of annual COD entries.
