Assassin’s Creed Black Flag ‘Resynced’ has been rated by PEGI

Back in early 2024, a rumour first popped up claiming that Ubisoft had greenlit the development of an Assassin’s Creed Black Flag remake. Since then, we’ve heard various bits and bobs surrounding the project – including the extent to which they plan to alter the game’s overall formula alongside its expected release date. While Ubisoft themselves have yet to make any official announcements, a listing for ‘Assassin’s Creed Black Flag Resynced’ has popped up on game rating boards.

As discovered by ResetEra user ‘–R’ the Pan-European Game Information (PEGI) ratings board has published a listing to their site for a game titled ‘Assassin’s Creed Black Flag Resynced’.

Though the page is no longer accessible, its listing seems to suggest that an official announcement from Ubisoft is imminent.

Black Flag Resynced

As mentioned, talk surrounding a Black Flag remake has persisted for a couple years now, with recent claims suggesting that the project could arrive as soon as March of 2026.

Given the fact that this supposed remake has now been publicly listed, it seems only a matter of time before the title is officially announced – perhaps during the 2025 Game Awards? We will have to wait and see.
