Devil May Cry 5 debuts at number one in UK games chart

This has been a very successful year for Capcom so far, with Resident Evil 2 Remake and Devil May Cry 5 both launching to extremely positive reviews. With Devil May Cry 5, Capcom has also managed to crack the UK's top-ten chart, with the game debuting at number 1.

With Devil May Cry 5 entering the UK sales charts, Anthem has been knocked down a few notches. Surprisingly, Far Cry New Dawn is also doing a solid job at staying in the top ten, despite middling reviews.

Here is the full UK top ten for the week ending on the 9th of March:

  1. Devil May Cry 5.
  2. Red Dead Redemption 2.
  3. Mario Kart 8 Deluxe.
  4. Anthem.
  5. FIFA 19.
  6. Far Cry New Dawn.
  7. The LEGO Movie 2 Videogame.
  8. Super Smash Bros. Ultimate.
  9. Metro Exodus.
  10. Grand Theft Auto V.

The GFK Chart-Track only counts physical copies sold. Still, this year's big releases seem to be doing well and as usual, Take Two is continuing to rake in cash thanks to Rockstar's hits.

KitGuru Says: Devil May Cry 5 is very flashy and as usual, the combat is fun. Have any of you picked this one up yet?
