MSI slashes laptop prices for back to school sale

It is back to school season. We've already covered a bunch of deals from MSI for those looking to pick up new parts for a custom PC build, but what about those looking for a laptop? Well, look no further, as we've rounded up the best UK deals going.

We'll start off at the high-end with the MSI Vector 16 HX AI. This laptop, which packs an Intel Core Ultra 7 255HX CPU and an RTX 5070 Ti GPU, normally goes for £1899, but is currently down to £1549.

Next up we have the MSI Prestige AI Evo. This laptop normally goes for £949 but is currently down to £899 for a limited time. For that money, you'll get a 13.3″ OLED display, an Intel Core Ultra 9 288V processor with integrated Arc graphics, 32GB of RAM and a 1TB NVMe SSD.

The MSI Cyborg 15 A13 is a good option for an entry-level gaming laptop. The laptop packs a 13th Gen Intel Core i5 CPU and an RTX 3050 GPU, along with 16GB of RAM and a 144Hz display for £579.

Finally, we have the MSI Modern 15, the cheapest laptop in this line-up of deals. The laptop has an 13th Gen Intel Core i3 CPU along with 8GB of RAM and a 512GB NVMe SSD for £279.

MSI's back to school deals will run until the 2nd of September.

KitGuru Games: Predicting the Next Half a Decade of Call of Duty Releases

Benjamin Franklin (1706-1790) famously once said: “The three absolutes in life are death, taxes and a new Call of Duty coming out every single year”. Sure enough, the US founding father has yet to be proven wrong, with Activision and a dozen studios having ensured that come the tail-end of any given year, there will be a new COD ready to release. And so, what can we expect from the franchise later this year? What about 2027, 2028 or even 2030? By looking back at the past two decades of Call of Duty games, their trends, progression and regression, I believe I can predict the next 5 years worth of annual COD entries.
