Ghost of Yotei will be playable early at the Tokyo Game Show

The Tokyo Game Show is coming up. Evidence already points to a big showing from Microsoft, with Forza Horizon 6 expected to be announced at the event. Now, we also have word on Sony's plans for TGS 2025.

The Tokyo Game Show begins on the 25th of September. Last year, Sony had a big showing at the event, thanks to games like Astro Bot and Death Stranding 2. For TGS 2025, the main focus will be on Suckerpunch's new game, Ghost of Yotei, a sequel to the highly rated 2020 release, Ghost of Tsushima.

Attendees at TGS will be able to play the game a few weeks early, ahead of its global release on PS5 in October. On top of that, attendees will also get to play an early build of Marvel TOKON: Fighting Souls, the next big fighting game from ARC System Works.

The only other game Sony has confirmed for TGS this year is Astro Bot, which will be playable in the Family Game Park section of the event.

KitGuru Games: Predicting the Next Half a Decade of Call of Duty Releases

Benjamin Franklin (1706-1790) famously once said: “The three absolutes in life are death, taxes and a new Call of Duty coming out every single year”. Sure enough, the US founding father has yet to be proven wrong, with Activision and a dozen studios having ensured that come the tail-end of any given year, there will be a new COD ready to release. And so, what can we expect from the franchise later this year? What about 2027, 2028 or even 2030? By looking back at the past two decades of Call of Duty games, their trends, progression and regression, I believe I can predict the next 5 years worth of annual COD entries.
