Monster Hunter Stories 3: Twisted Reflection revealed for 2026

Just as promised, Nintendo hosted its Direct stream today, showcasing a ton of new third-party games coming to the Switch platform. Today's show kicked off with the reveal of Monster Hunter Stories 3: Twisted Reflection.

The latest entry in the Monster Hunter Stories franchise is now on the way. Unlike traditional Monster Hunter titles, the Stories series is an anime-inspired RPG, with big boss fights against beasts both new and familiar, as well as turn-based combat.

There is no exact release date yet but Monster Hunter Stories 3 will release for the Switch 2 in 2026. There is no word on the latest mainline game, Monster Hunter Wilds, coming to the Switch platform.

Typically, the Monster Hunter Stories series is multiplatform, so we also expect to see this game on PC and potentially PS5 and Xbox too.

KitGuru Games: Predicting the Next Half a Decade of Call of Duty Releases

Benjamin Franklin (1706-1790) famously once said: “The three absolutes in life are death, taxes and a new Call of Duty coming out every single year”. Sure enough, the US founding father has yet to be proven wrong, with Activision and a dozen studios having ensured that come the tail-end of any given year, there will be a new COD ready to release. And so, what can we expect from the franchise later this year? What about 2027, 2028 or even 2030? By looking back at the past two decades of Call of Duty games, their trends, progression and regression, I believe I can predict the next 5 years worth of annual COD entries.
