Destiny 2 ‘Last Call’ teaser drops plenty of story hints, full reveal coming tomorrow

Earlier this week, Bungie officially announced Destiny 2 with a short teaser image. Since then, we've received our first look at where Destiny 2 is going story-wise as a teaser trailer starring Cayde-6 has dropped, giving us our first look at the war going on.

The teaser trailer is aptly titled ‘Last Call' and features a short 1-minute scene of Cayde drinking in a bar and talking about the surprise attack on earth.

There will be a ‘worldwide reveal trailer' on Thursday at 6PM (UK time) this week, during which we should hopefully get confirmation of Destiny 2's PC release, alongside the September 8th release date that we saw in previous leaks.

KitGuru Says: While not everyone enjoyed Destiny, it is by far one of my favourite console games this generation, though I always felt like it would play better with a mouse and keyboard. Hopefully the rumours are true and Destiny 2 does come to PC. Are any of you guys fans of Destiny? Will you be looking forward to the sequel this year? It is made by the same team behind The Taken King expansion, so I'm fairly optimistic about it.

As suspected, the teaser campaign was a prelude to the official reveal of Divinity, the studio's first major project following Baldur's Gate 3. While the reveal was limited to a cinematic trailer, it confirms that the developer is returning to its proprietary IP.
