Computex: Streacom shows off new hardware benches and cases

Yesterday, Leo had the chance to stop be the Streacom booth at Computex, getting a peek at some upcoming PC cases and benches for test systems.

Firstly we took a look at the DA4, an actively cooled prototype of the DB4 with the extruded panels replaced by ventilated variants. This change saved around 5kg in weight, making the whole thing much lighter.

Above you will find the BC1 Mini Bench, a Mini-ITX test bench that should end up retailing below $119. It comes in silver, red and black versions.

Finally, we also saw the DB6 Micro ATX. In the images above you will see a Calyos kit for the CPU on one side and a second Calyos for the GPU. The first kit should cost around $350 while the second will be around $150. The chassis itself has glass on the top, front and bottom and you can access the sides to build the system. There is also an expansion kit to add GPU cooling to the DB4, though it doesn't really do much for GPU VRMs, which is an issue.
