Assassin’s Creed Mirage and The Crew: Motorfest reportedly delayed

As a publisher Ubisoft is not afraid to delay their games, one, two or even six times (in the case of Skull & Bones). Unfortunately (or fortunately based on your own perspective) another two titles have seemingly been delayed – namely The Crew: Motorfest and Assassin’s Creed Mirage.

As reported by dataminer ScriptLeaksR6, both Assassin’s Creed Mirage and Project Orlando – AKA The Crew: Motorfest – have been delayed. Both these titles were announced to be coming sometime this year, though no further release windows had been shared.

When pushed for more details regarding when these games might now be released, ScriptLeaksR6 claimed that Ubisoft could still hit their 2023 plans, but that at the very least AC Mirage could slip into next year, stating that the current internal window for its launch now rests at Q4 2023 – Q2 2024.

ScriptLeaksR6 also offered a bit of information regarding the tech behind Assassin’s Creed Mirage, claiming that it will run on the same “old” Assassin’s Creed engine. This is not surprising as Mirage was originally concepted as DLC for 2020’s Assassin’s Creed Valhalla, before the game was ultimately spun off into its own title.

Ubisoft recently announced that following the confirmation of their presence at E3, the publisher has had a change of heart and will now be hosting their own showcase – meaning that if these delays are true then we will most likely hear about it then.
