Recently, a Gigabyte press release claimed that new-gen Ryzen CPUs would be coming out before the end of this year. This generated some headlines, but the company has now addressed this, confirming it was an error.
After contacting Giga Computing (Gigabyte's server division) regarding the PR for the new servers, TechRadar shared the company's response, where the PC component manufacturer admitted to having made a mistake.
In a statement, Liam Quinn (Gigabyte spokesperson) confirmed that the wording used in the PR was a mistake, as the company “does not know when the Ryzen 7000 successor will be released”. Since then, the company has altered the wording in the press release.
Although we would like to see AMD release a new generation of Ryzen processors, AMD's roadmap suggests we won't see them until 2024. These next-gen processors may make the jump to the Zen 5 architecture and we should continue to see 3D V-cache versions too.

KitGuru says: These mistakes can happen, fortunately, things have been quickly cleared up. Next year, we should see next-gen ‘Zen 5' processors from AMD.
