KiiBOOM showcases new Phantom98 Lite keyboard

We present the Phantom98 Lite, a cute keyboard that aims to bridge the gap between enthusiast-level customisation and out-of-the-box visual flair. This latest entry manages to squeeze a nearly full-sized experience into a trimmer 98% layout, retaining the essential numpad while reclaiming valuable desk real estate.

Available in green, pink, and translucent, the Phantom98 Lite pairs a glossy UV-glazed case with PBT dye-sublimated themed keycaps. Interestingly, KiiBOOM has integrated a magnetic nameplate that doubles as a hidden storage compartment for the 2.4G wireless receiver, ensuring you won't lose your dongle when transporting the keyboard.

Technically, the Phantom98 Lite is built utilising a gasket-mounted structure. This design provides a naturally cushioned typing feel and a cleaner, more consistent sound profile compared to traditional tray-mount boards. For those who enjoy fine-tuning their experience, the PCB is fully hot-swappable, making switch changes effortless. This hardware flexibility is matched by its VIA support, which enables users to remap every key and configure complex multi-layer macros through an intuitive interface.
