Razer announces Tartarus V2 Pro keypad with Gen-2 Analog Optical switches

Razer has launched the Tartarus V2 Pro, an updated gaming keypad featuring the company's Gen-2 Analog Optical switches and 8000Hz HyperPolling. The new model includes 31 programmable controls, an anti-drift TMR thumbstick, and a re-engineered adjustable wrist rest.

Central to the Tartarus V2 Pro is the Razer Analog Optical Switch Gen-2, which provides an adjustable actuation point between 0.1mm and 4.0mm along with Rapid Trigger sensitivity down to 0.1mm. Each switch includes internal lubrication and a dense foam dampening layer, with a durability rating of 100 million keystrokes. Keycaps use textured double-shot PBT for wear resistance.

Input management includes 31 programmable controls and a full-sized TMR thumbstick with three dedicated buttons for radial menu navigation. Physical adjustments include a sliding, rotating wrist rest. Supporting up to 8000Hz HyperPolling, the keypad integrates Razer's Advanced Input Control suite, including Snap Tap, Snap Flex, and Dynamic Keystroke functions.

Users can configure up to 24 keymaps across three onboard profiles using Razer Synapse. Users can also perform on-the-fly actuation and Rapid Trigger adjustments directly on the keypad via an integrated LED display array without opening software.
