Razer unveils Cobra and Cobra Pro gaming mice

Razer is adding a new addition to its gaming mouse line-up. The new Cobra and Cobra Pro gaming mice both offer a symmetrical design with additional programmable buttons.

The Razer Cobra series includes two mice, a wired standard Cobra and a wireless Cobra Pro. The wireless model offers a good level of customisation, 10 programmable buttons, 5 onboard memory profiles, and 11 individually addressable RGB zones, the most zones in its class, all within a sleek, symmetrical design.

Designed with seven buttons on top, two on the side, and one on the bottom, the Cobra Pro should fulfil the needs of most gamers. The Razer Hypershift feature takes it a step further by enabling a secondary set of functions on top of existing button assignments, expanding gameplay options. Like most new Razer gaming products, the Cobra line supports Chroma RGB. With 16.8 million colours, a variety of lighting effects, and integration with over 250+ games.

The Razer Cobra Pro features some of the high-end capabilities of the Basilisk V3 Pro, including the Focus Pro 30K optical sensor, optical mouse switches Gen-3, and HyperSpeed technology. Moreover, the Pro variant is upgrade-ready for true 4000Hz polling rates with the optional Razer Mouse Dock Pro or Razer HyperPolling Wireless Dongle. Despite its feature-packed nature, the Cobra Pro weighs only 77g.

With up to 100 hours of gameplay on HyperSpeed Wireless (and an impressive 170 hours on Bluetooth), gamers will rarely find themselves interrupted due to running out of power. For charging, there's a USB-C Speedflex cable, but the mouse also supports wireless charging using the Razer Mouse Dock Pro or Razer Wireless Charging Puck (both sold separately).

Alternatively to the Cobra Pro, there's a wired variant of the Cobra mouse. It's lightweight and features durable switches, eight customisable buttons, and a gradient Chroma green underglow. The Razer Cobra Pro is priced at $129.99/€149.99, while the Razer Cobra is priced at $39.99/€49.99.
