Offering clarity on the matter, Activision has now further explained how Call of Duty Black Ops 7’s new matchmaking system works.

Following the successful arrival of Black Ops 1 and 2 on PS5, Call of Duty have announced that they will be further reducing skill-based matchmaking in BO7.

Following the conclusion of its beta, Treyarch have confirmed that Black Ops 7 is bringing back persistent lobbies while reducing skill-based matchmaking.

Following years of outcry, the Black Ops 7 beta has introduced a new playlist in which “skill consideration is drastically reduced when matchmaking.”
