Nintendo has finally announced that Super Mario Sunshine is joining the Nintendo Switch Online GameCube Classics collection on Switch 2. The title was originally confirmed for the service well over a year ago, making this one of the slowest additions from the first wave of announced GameCube games.

This year, Nintendo is going to be celebrating the 25th anniversary of Super Mario and now thanks to decent sources on the matter, we know a bit more about Nintendo's plans. Switch owners will get a lot of Super Mario games this year, including remasters for a couple of fan-favourites.  …
