As was the case with the first game, PowerWash Simulator 2 has been crossing over with all manner of IPs, including the likes of Adventure Time and most recently Star Wars. In yet another unexpected collaboration, the team at FuturLab have announced that players will soon be able to don a pink jumpsuit as they tackle 5 new levels set in the Barbie universe.
Making the official announcement via a brand new trailer, the team at FuturLab confirmed that the next DLC coming to PowerWash Simulator 2 will be with none other than Hasbro’s iconic Barbie, writing:
“With Barbie, You Can Be Anything! Turns out, ‘anything’ includes a PowerWasher Barbie. Step outside of the box and power wash your way through Malibu in this clean-up adventure spanning five levels. Spray away muck, revealing sparkling, pristine plastic beneath!”
As with most of its previous crossover DLCs, a total of 5 levels will be available to clean and spruce up, including but not limited to Barbie’s DreamHouse, Dream Camper and Dream Boat. Additionally, the DLC also brings with it a number of Barbie-themed cosmetics and accessories.
No exact release date has been provided, although according to FuturLab the DLC will go live sometime in “late 2026”. Likewise, an official price has not been announced. Based on past crossovers however, expect it to land somewhere between £6 and £8.
Between PowerWash Simulator 1 and its sequel, FuturLab have collabed with a wide range of odd and unexpected IPs, including the likes of Alice in Wonderland; Back to the Future; SpongeBob SquarePants; Wallace & Gromit and even Shrek.
With the team having now established a relationship with Hasbro, it will be interesting to see whether any of its other IPs wind up coming to the game in the future. Perhaps we’ll see a Transformers or My Little Pony DLC next?
