Samsung’s Android Marshmallow update schedule has been revealed

Samsung's a pretty popular brand, so chances are that a few of you reading this own a Galaxy smartphone from the last couple of years. If you happen to be a Galaxy user, you might be wondering when you'll get your hands on the Android Marshmallow update, fortunately, the update schedule has appeared online ahead of time.

Samsung didn't publish the schedule itself, this is actually the result of an internal leak obtained by Times News, so things are subject to change. However, as it stands now, the Galaxy Note 5 and Galaxy S6 Edge+ are set to be the first to get Marshmallow in December.

From there, the Galaxy S6 and S6 Edge will get the latest update in January, followed by the Galaxy Note 4 and Galaxy Note Edge in February. Finally, last year's Galaxy S5 and the Galaxy Alpha may also get the Marshmallow update, though right now Samsung has these devices ‘pending approval', which means plans could change depending on any issues.

Given that this schedule was leaked, it can't really be classed as official, so Samsung could still change these dates around, even if they are accurate at this moment in time.
