Starfield is coming in June according to GOG listing

Recently, rumours have all been pointing to a June release date for Starfield, with Bethesda expected to announce the date officially in the near future. It would seem that perhaps someone at GOG knows more than we do, as the store page for Starfield has been updated release date information.

The GOG page for Starfield as updated, revealing a June 29th release date for Bethesda's upcoming Sci-Fi RPG. Previously, Bethesda has said that the game is planned to release in the first half of 2023, so June 29th just about falls into that window.

Previously, Windows Central editor, Jez Corden, said on the Xbox Two podcast that he is hearing talk of a June release date too, adding fuel to ongoing rumours.

It is possible that GOG simply put a placeholder date in the backend and it was mistakenly made public. Store pages regularly go live with placeholder dates, so it is rare to see legitimate release date leaks this way. Hopefully Bethesda will be gearing up to dispel confusion and give us official news soon.

KitGuru Says: Given that Bethesda and Microsoft have been silent on Starfield in recent months, I'm still anticipating a delay here. If Starfield really is coming out in June, then I'd expect some kind of official announcement before the end of March.
